For further increased productivity, the single-user speech recognition system Dragon for DictaNet is available as an optional additional module. DictaNet Speech Recognition is a special OEM-Version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking Legal Edition from ScanSoft. The software converts your spoken dictation directly into written text on the screen. This effective additional module has so far proven its worth in over 4000 workplaces.

Dragon for DictaNet converts speech into written text quickly and precisely, whether you are dictating a complex document or routine business correspondence. Dragon for DictaNet can process text at a rate of up to 160 words per minute.

Operation
After short initial training period, Dragon for DictaNet creates an individual speech profile for you. By analyzing the content of pre-existing written documents, Dragon for DictaNet's vocabulary adapts itself to the particular language demands in your setting. When you dictate, your language will be directly converted into text on the screen. You can make the necessary corrections yourself, either by speech command or via the keyboard. Corrections or formatting can also be carried out by your typist.
Greater efficiency with notes
With Dragon for DictaNet you are also able to add speech notes. These can be added anywhere in the text via a speech command. Instructions for typists can also be dictated along with the text, and are automatically included in the dictated document, with appropriate formatting to distinguish them from the text of the dictation.
Specialised vocabulary
The specialized legal vocabulary that comes with the software includes complex legal terms, Latin, names of courts, abbreviations, and commonly-used words typically found in legal documents. Other industry specific vocabularies are available. Fast-forwarding and rewinding are no longer necessary - at the click of a button you can access any part of the dictation.
