Our favourite noise cancelling monaural headset microphone, brilliant for voice recognition or Skyping.

The Andrea NC181VM USB gets Dragon’s highest accuracy rating, comfortably out-performing many more expensive models.

If you are using it for Dragon or other voice recognition applications, it provides consistently good performance, even in open plan surroundings.

With a convenient mute button and volume control, it’s quick and easy to control.  It’s also very easy to position the microphone element which is on a flexible stalk.  The element is fitted with a secure windsock that doesn’t fall off (like some we could mention). That means the sound of your breathing won’t interfere with the performance of your voice recognition application.

The 181VM USB has its own built in sound system, so it bypasses your PC sound card, providing crystal clear, high-fidelity results.  No wonder it gets Dragon’s highest rating on the accuracy scale.

Playback sound quality is also excellent.  If you have a favourite ear, you can wear the earphone on the left or right side.

There’s a generous cable connection to your computer (nearly 2.5m) so it’s no problem if you need to stand up and have a stretch.

The headset folds flat, making it convenient to transport.

Prices on our website are inclusive of postage & packaging but exclusive of VAT. Upon checkout, VAT will be added at the prevailing UK rate.

Delivery for in stock items is usually 1 business day for orders taken before 3 p.m. However, for items not in stock, we aim to dispatch all orders within 3-7 working days from payment but not later than 30 days.
Prices include delivery unless otherwise stated.

We currently only deliver to the United Kingdom (Including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands) unless special arrangements have been made. If you would like any orders delivered outside of the United Kingdom, we will contact you once you have placed your order, to let you have final shipping costs and to make special arrangements. If you would like to discuss this with us before you place your order then kindly contact us.

Once your order has been dispatched, we will contact you to confirm delivery and estimated time of arrival. Orders will be sent either by Royal Mail Special Delivery or via a designated courier. The agent will need a signature at your end. If no-one will be available during normal working hours at the delivery address, we ask that you provide an alternative address, perhaps your workplace. We will, wherever possible, advise you of any anticipated delay when you place your order, however, we cannot, accept liability for any loss or inconvenience that may result from any delay.

Delivery will be on a specified day between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. For deliveries outside these times, please contact us.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

You have the right to cancel a Contract if you feel that the product is not suitable and you may do so at any time up to 7 days after the day you receive the goods, without having to give any explanation. Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until fourteen days after delivery.

To cancel the Contract, you must inform us in writing by sending an email to us immediately at, stating your order number and date of purchase. You must return the goods to us immediately in the same condition you received them at your own cost and risk and you are legally obliged to take proper care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. We will arrange to refund you the cost of the goods as quickly as possible but in any event within 30 days or receiving the goods from you.

Please note that any goods which have been personalised to your requirements cannot be cancelled. We will examine goods returned and provided they are in good and saleable condition, we will issue a refund as stated above.

We reserve the right to reject any goods which have been damaged whilst in your possession or, alternatively, to deduct a percentage of your refund to reflect the degree of damage. This is at our sole discretion. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the cost of dispatch or returns.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
