Making A Purchase

To make a purchase, simply browse our website, select the products that you wish to buy and check out via our secure server. We accept payments via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Visa Electron, Switch & Solo). Card payments are processed securely via Sage Pay. Should you wish to cancel an order before it has been shipped, simply email or call us and we will be arrange for your order to be cancelled and payment to be refunded.

Delivery

Prices on our website are inclusive of postage & packaging but exclusive of VAT. Upon checkout, VAT will be added at the prevailing UK rate.

Delivery for in stock items is usually 1 business day for orders taken before 3 p.m. However, for items not in stock, we aim to dispatch all orders within 3-7 working days from payment but not later than 30 days.
Prices include delivery unless otherwise stated.

We currently only deliver to the United Kingdom (Including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands) unless special arrangements have been made. If you would like any orders delivered outside of the United Kingdom, we will contact you once you have placed your order, to let you have final shipping costs and to make special arrangements. If you would like to discuss this with us before you place your order then kindly contact us.

Once your order has been dispatched, we will contact you to confirm delivery and estimated time of arrival. Orders will be sent either by Royal Mail Special Delivery or via a designated courier. The agent will need a signature at your end. If no-one will be available during normal working hours at the delivery address, we ask that you provide an alternative address, perhaps your workplace. We will, wherever possible, advise you of any anticipated delay when you place your order, however, we cannot, accept liability for any loss or inconvenience that may result from any delay.

Delivery will be on a specified day between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. For deliveries outside these times, please contact us.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

You have the right to cancel a Contract if you feel that the product is not suitable and you may do so at any time up to 7 days after the day you receive the goods, without having to give any explanation. Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until fourteen days after delivery.

To cancel the Contract, you must inform us in writing by sending an email to us immediately at info@bdf-solutions.co.uk, stating your order number and date of purchase. You must return the goods to us immediately in the same condition you received them at your own cost and risk and you are legally obliged to take proper care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. We will arrange to refund you the cost of the goods as quickly as possible but in any event within 30 days or receiving the goods from you.

Please note that any goods which have been personalised to your requirements cannot be cancelled.  We will examine goods returned and provided they are in good and saleable condition, we will issue a refund as stated above.

We reserve the right to reject any goods which have been damaged whilst in your possession or, alternatively, to deduct a percentage of your refund to reflect the degree of damage. This is at our sole discretion. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the cost of dispatch or returns.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Privacy and Security Advice

BDF Solutions take your security and privacy very seriously and we will never share your details with any external organisation without your consent.

Managing online transactions

We chose Sage Pay to handle all payments securely and efficiently. You can also do your bit to protect yourself from Internet fraud and sharp practice with a few simple precautions, such as:-

Check the company you are purchasing from is a genuine business – does it have a postal address and a phone number in case you need to contact them?

Check that the prices advertised show clearly whether VAT and delivery costs are inclusive.

Check that the company’s website displays policies for delivery, cancellation of orders and return of goods etc.

Check that the company’s website uses “SSL” – this stands for Secure Sockets Layer (sorry you asked?) and it just means that your personal and credit /debit card information is safely encrypted before being transmitted. You will know when SSL protocol is in use by the padlock symbol displayed by your browser during the transaction.

There is no such thing as 100% security, but simple precautions and common sense will put off most of the bad guys!

Questions

Q. Will BDF Solutions retain my credit card information?

A. No, we don’t store your card details, and we don’t even see them. All transactions are managed through Sage Pay who specialise in secure Internet merchant services.

Q. Will BDF Solutions keep my name and address?

A. Yes we do keep your contact information, and this is so that we can deal efficiently with any enquiries or problems with products that you have purchased from us. Rest assured, this information will never be shared with any third party.

Q. Will BDF Solutions bombard me with marketing emails when I give you my email address?

A. We may send occasional newsletters or product update information, but only if you have given us permission to do this. Any emails we do send have a simple option to unsubscribe should you not wish to receive further communications.

Q. Can BDF Solutions ship my goods to a different address to the cardholder?

A. Yes, but this is at our discretion. BDF Solutions reserves the right to decline shipping of an order if we have any concerns or feel we need to make more detailed checks.
